As much as I "preach" to my clients about letting me know what they like in a massage session....(or don't
like).... telling me when the pressure is too light, or too heavy...or I really like it when you do ......, I often don't
hear anything until AFTER the massage is over. That may be because I didn't "check in" with the client
and ask...OR they simply didn't want to comment at that time.
I don't know how other therapists feel,
but I REALLY DO want to know if you would like deeper pressure or for me to lighten up...or for me to "do that again-
that was GREAT!" THE MASSAGE IS FOR YOU, not me! Yes, I do know what I am doing...AND I DO know what should
work to relieve muscle tension, BUT it IS YOUR BODY and only YOU know when YOU feel that the work that is being done
is helping, feels good, feels bad, etc!
SO.... TELL ME, TELL ME, TELL ME! (or tell your therapist) If you
want 30 minutes on your feet -OK! If you want me to rub your noggin for the entire HOUR....OK! If you want
me to start face up instead of face down - TELL me!
Hmmm.If you want a steak dinner and wine after your massage
- tell your significant other!!!!! LOL
Anyway...get my point? Don't just lie there...get rubbed on...and go
home wishing...gee....she didn't do this or that or boy...she sure wasn't deep this time...ya get my point?
I
hope this helps both of us get you the experience you desire. For if you DO, I will continue to see YOU...and that is
what I want.
I recently heard a story about how the Lifewave patches helped someone in pain. A woman entered the hall where people
were demonstrating the use of the patches. She was only able to walk with crutches. After she managed to get to
the person demonstrating the patches, she was able to get out of pain immediately and proceeded to give the crutches to her
friend to carry! ICEWAVE, from Lifewave. If you know anyone in pain... check this out.
Super
story, super results. www.lifewave.com/639394
